OpenForecast - User Guide

Here you will find the first complete draft of a User's Guide for the open-source project, OpenForecast. A print-friendly, PDF version is also available to those who make a donation - see below for details. I have plans to expand the User's Guide with more detailed examples and discussion of some of the more advanced features of OpenForecast as time permits.

I'll send the PDF version to the e-mail address from which the request is received.

You can make a donation using PayPal to pay with any major credit card or debit card. Just click on the "PayPal Donate" icon. There's one below, but there's also one available on the left hand side of most pages on this web site.

The amount you donate is entirely up to you. Think of this as a tip you pay for using the OpenForecast product, and/or referring to the User's Guide. If you'd like some guidelines, I'd suggest any of the following:

• If you are using OpenForecast for personal use, then consider a contribution of at least $5.
• If you are using OpenForecast embedded inside a commercial application for internal company user, then consider a contribution of at least $25.
• If you are using OpenForecast embedded inside a commercial application for use by others outside your company, then consider a contribution of at least $50.
• If you are using OpenForecast embedded inside a commercial software product offered for sale by your company, then consider a contribution of at least $75, along with recognition/credit to the use of OpenForecast.
• With a contribution of at least $100, you will be considered a Sponsor of OpenForecast and will receive a link to your web site from this web page.
• With a contribution of at least $1000, you will be considered a Platinum Sponsor of OpenForecast and will receive a prominant banner ad and link to your web site (for one full year).
